Triggering Events

  • Algo buy/sell signals
  • Confirm Line buy/sell signals
  • Combined (algo + confirm) buy/sell signals.

Alert Messages

  • Long (Strong Buy): Buy signal backed up bull swing diamond (i.e. any time you see a green diamond on the chart with a Buy signal). This combination means that 90% of our indicators show a bull signal.
  • Short (Strong Sell): Sell signal backed up bear swing diamond (i.e. any time you see a red diamond on the chart with a Sell signal). This combination means that 90% of our indicators show a bear signal.
  • Trend Change (Buy to Sell): Algo switches from Buy to Sell but without 90% consensus (i.e. any time you see a Buy Signal without a diamond).
  • Trend Change (Sell to Buy): Algo switches from Sell to Buy but without 90% consensus (i.e. any time you see a Sell Signal without a diamond).

We recommend using these alerts with the Once Per Bar Close setting so you don't receive any false signals:

Alert Recommendations

We typically recommend using automated alerts. That way, you never miss a signal and only need to set up one alert instead of four.

And because both the squeeze and momentum indicators are used to generate alerts, you'll likely see a 4-Point Confirmation if you receive a Long Signal (Strong Buy) or Short Signal (Strong Sell).

Both the Long Signal (Strong Buy) and Short Signal (Strong Sell) will have a Diamond and a Buy/Sell signal, so that's already half of the criteria for entry.

Diamonds are also our "strongest" signal because that means over 90% of our indicators changed at once.

You could also consider setting individual alerts for just the Strong Buy and/or Strong Sell if you're waiting for a good entry point.

That way, you'll receive fewer alerts, and the ones you do receive should be good candidates for entry.

Once you enter a position, we recommend switching back to automated so you'll receive an alert if the trend changes.

We see people typically set up alerts for any tickers they're watching or have positions in and monitor for trend changes.

For example, if you enter TSLA after you receive a Long alert and then see a trend change or short signal, you may want to take profits or exit the position completely.
